Yesterday was another great day! We began the day at chapel. Our students did a great job again leading the music. They also worked really well with the kids doing a craft. It is a joy to watch our kids interact with the students here and Destin. I'm grateful for the opportunity to introduce our kids to serving other churches at such a young age. I pray that the Lord will give them a desire to serve Him throughout their lives. Hunter and Lyndsey lead the Bible study and they did a great job sharing with the kids about the wonder of Jesus's ministry. They got to tell the students about how Jesus calmed the storms, healed the sick, and raised the dead. Would you pray with me that these students would see wonder of Christ and submit their lives to Him?

We ended the day yesterday going to door to door. We divided into five teams and we were able to cover several streets and many houses. The people are friendly, but many did not seem interested in church. Hunter, Lyndsey, and Creed worked with the Brazilian church planter and went to a neighborhood that was primarily people of Brazilian descent. Would you pray that the Brazilian church would reach more families and the name of Jesus be known among their neighbors? Curtis, Jean, Dakota, Andrea, Kyson, and Ava went to a neighborhood near the church, they knocked on several doors, pray that they would see their need for Jesus. Shandel, Kruze, Khade, Hope, Nikki, Sutton, Ridge, and I also went to a neighborhood near the church, would you pray that they too would see their need for Jesus?

Today we will do one more chapel service with the day care and tonight we are hosting a Backyard Bible Club. We are praying that the students from the homes that we visited will come tonight and they will be introduced to Jesus and the ministry of FBC Destin, and the Brazilian church.

Tomorrow morning we will be driving back please pray for safe travel. I also am preaching a Funeral in Locust Grove Friday, would you pray with me for the Johnson family as I prepare a funeral sermon from here?

Thank you guys for all that you do! It is a joy to serve the Lord and to represent FBCLG. God is good, He is a God of the nations and I pray that the Kingdom will be advanced in Destin!
