Yesterday was a good day! We began the day at the church leading their chapel service. Our students did a great job. We sang several fun songs with them. Nikki and Shandel lead the Bible lesson on the birth of Jesus and then we did a craft with them. It's a blessing to me to watch our people teach and serve other people.

Yesterday afternoon we knocked on 100 doors to invite them to the backyard Bible club. We will go and knock on some doors this afternoon as well. Would you pray that God would give us opportunities to share the gospel?

The highlight of the day for me was after we knocked on doors, I know this is so simple, Marcello, a member of FBC Destin, prayed in Portuguese. He asked the Lord to move in Destin. Everytime someone prays in another language besides English, I am humbled by the reality that our God is a God of the nations. To know that God is known around the world moves me. We serve a great God, a God who is God to all people in all time every where. They may not confess Him to be there God, but that does not make Him any less God. The Bible tells us that every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord, Philippians 2:10-11.

As you pray for our team and for the gospel to advance in Destin, pray in the reality of a God of the nations who transcends all of creation. No one is exempt from His sovereign rule. Pray that people in Destin will bow the knee to King Jesus!

Thank you for praying for us!
